Kushal Ram N – Yoga Teacher

Kushal‘s first experience with Ashtanga Yoga occured several years back when he met his teacher Federico Menzano, who since then has been teaching him a wide range of other yogic practices.

To go deeper in the traditional practice and improve his teaching, Kushal completed a Teacher Training Programme with BNS Iyengar (Pranayama and Mudra) Master Ji (Asana, Alignment techniques) and Ganesh Kumar (Yoga Philosophy). After having taught in two shalas in Mysore for several years, he decided to open The Ashtanga Yogatantra Research School in order to pass on his knowledge to his students.

 

Prajwal Jai – Yoga Teacher

Jai‘s aspirations and sensitivity to spiritual practices led him to begin Asthanga Yoga a few years ago under the guidance of his teacher Kushal. He soon realized that the Yoga would be his path. He became Kushal’s assistant and now instructs Primary Series.

Helene Doyle – yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner

Helene originating from France is a qualified yoga instructor and yoga therapist. She currently teach Sivananda Style Harha Yoga here in Mysore since March 2015. She adapts to people’s needs and is happy to share health tips if needed. She was previously a manager and teaching in a yoga center in Cambodia (Siem-Reap) for three years.

She is also fully qualified in Reiki (1sr degree, 2nd degree and Master – Dr Usui lineage). She gives Reiki treatments and attunements.

T.K. Chandrashekhar – Astrology Teacher

T.K. Chandrashekhar was born on the 6th of April 1954 in Mysore. He is a graduate in Science from Delhi University with Physics as the core subject. He also completed his Graduate as well as a Post Graduate in Engineering in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He worked in the communication field under the Ministry of Communications in various capacities. He retired from service voluntarily when he was serving as the General Manager Telecom in Mysore. Subsequently, for three years, he taught Electronics and Communication subjects in an Engineering College.

An avid follower of Hindu Astrology since 1985, he has focussed on the nuances of the art of prediction very closely. He is the holder of two certificates from the Indian Council of Astrological Sciences, New Delhi. One of them confers on him the title of “Jyotish Praveena” while the other confers the title of “Jyotish Visharada”. He has been in the field of teaching Hindu Astrology for nearly twelve years now. He is currently a teacher in the School of Astrological Sciences, Mysore. His present focus is on “Medical Astrology”.
